Personal Bio

Hi! I'm originally from the suburbs of Chicago and I did my undergrad at UCLA. I did some undergraduate research in computer vision, specifically medical imaging and depth completion, but now I'm interested the intersection of cognitive science/psychology and computer science. See below for more details!

One word that describes me would be curious! I love learning about people and things, especially things that others are passionate about. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, painting, Spikeball, and more recently climbing! I'm also involved in the Catholic/Christian community on campus and open to talk about navigating faith and academics or science.

Fun Fact

I love making homemade hummus and now I can't eat store bought hummus because it's just not as good...

Research Pitch

My research is really on the intersection of bridging the gap between technical computer science research and society. Specifically 2 directions interest me: 1. How can we use cognitive science techniques as a means of interpretability in computer vision/language models? and 2. How do lay individuals perceive AI technology, and how can we develop informal educational experiences (e.g. museum exhibits) to help increase self-efficacy?
